5 Ingredient Twix Bars

Ingredients

  • Layer 1:
  • 1 1/2 cups almond flour
  • 1/8 cup coconut oil (melted)
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • Caramel Layer:
  • 1/3 cup hazelnut butter (or nut/ seed butter of your choice)
  • 1/6 cup maple syrup
  • 2-3 tbsp coconut oil (melted)
  • Topping:
  • Melted chocolate

Directions

  1. Combine almond flour and maple syrup then
  2. add cooled melted coconut oil and mix to form dough (u can use processor as well).
  3. Bake at 350F for 15-20 min or until edges slightly golden then cool off
  4. In a small pan combine caramel layer
  5. ingredients and bring it to boil. Lower the heat to low boil and let it bubble for 6-7 min.
  6. Pour onto the first laver and let is set in the fridge for 1h or so
  7. Melt your chocolate of choice with a bit of
  8. coconut oil (I suggest clean chocolate made of cacao, cacao butter and coconut sugar) and pour over then let it set in the fridge
