Ingredients

  • 1 and 1/4 cups almond milk
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 Granny Smith apple, peeled and cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger and a pinch of kosher salt
  • 1 tbsp pure maple syrup and more for drizzling
  • 1 tsp fresh lemon juice (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp chopped walnuts, for sprinkling on top
