Boloanese Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 TBSP olive oil
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup celery, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup carrots, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic
- 8 oz lean ground beef
- 1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/3 cup dry red wine
- 1 tsp majoron
- 1 tsp beef bouillon
Directions
On medium-high heat cook olive oil, onion, celery, and carrots for 3-4 minutes. Add beef and cook. Stir in the remaining ingredients, bring to a boil, stir for 10-15 minutes.
Serve over pasta with Romano cheese.
