Bolognese Timbers Meat Sauce

Ingredients

  • 10 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup olive oil
  • 2.5 lb diced onions
  • 1 lb shredded carrots
  • 1 cup minced fresh garlic
  • 2 cups red wine
  • 1/4 pound of basil (A quarter of a bag stems remove and chopped)
  • 2 bunches of Italian parsley chopped
  • 3 #10cans of crushed tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup kosher salt
  • 3 tablespoons black pepper

Directions

  1. In a large rondo add olive oil and ground beef and cook on medium heat while continuously crumbling the beef. When the beef is cooked and completely crumbled, add garlic, onions, and carrots and continue to sauté for three minutes. Then add red wine and cook for another five minutes. Add the fresh herbs Salt pepper and tomatoes, continue to cook for three hours. Stirring every 30 minutes. Make sure your heat is on medium to low.
