Bolognese With Zoodles

Ingredients

  • 1 onion
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 500g mined meat
  • 3 tbsp tomato purée
  • 1 tbsp thyme
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 500g zucchini pasta
  • Salt
  • 1/2 cup (45g) grated parmesan cheese
  • Fresh basil

Directions

  1. Peel and chop the onion. Add the butter to a large frying pan, fry the ground beef and add the onion, garlic, tomato purée, and thyme.
  2. Cook for a few more minutes, add the cream and water. Let it simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. Cook the zucchini pasta according to the packet instructions (add to boiling salted water) for a few seconds.
  4. Top it off with parmesan cheese and basil.
