Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup chopped onions
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon celery seed or diced celery sautéed with onions till soft
- 1 teaspoon basil
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- Chili powder to taste
- 2 dashes of Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 cup chopped hot peppers (what ever is in pantry or freezer from garden)
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 1 can stewed tomatoes
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 large can brooks ready chili mix with beans
- 1 can mild chili mix with beans
- 3 cans of kidney beans ( mix red & dark / possibly add northern beans)
- 1 can of water mixed with remaining juices from the cans

Directions
- Sautéed onions and celery till soft
- Add chopped peppers
- Brown ground beef
- Add onions, celery and peppers
- Add seasoning and salt & pepper
- Add beef broth, tomato sauce, stewed tomatoes and beans
- Add juices from cans with water for 1 cup
- Simmer for 1 to 2 hours
- Stir frequently add chili powder if needed
