Ingredients

  • 2 c. Sliced Carrots
  • 2 c. Chopped Broccoli
  • 1 c. Sliced Celery
  • 2 c. Chopped Onion
  • 1 stick of Butter
  • 1 1/3 c. Flour
  • 2 c. Chicken Broth
  • 4 c. Whole Milk
  • 2 c. Half and Half
  • 3 c. Shredded Cheese

Directions

  1. 1. Boil carrots, celery, and broccoli for 5 minutes. Drain.
  2. 2. Sauté onion in butter. Add flour to make a smooth paste.
  3. 3. Gradually add half and half and milk. Cook until thick, about 8-10 minutes.
  4. 4. Add vegetables. Heat until tender.
  5. 5. Add cheese. Heat until melted.
