Broccoli Fritters

Ingredients

  • • 2 cups grated & steamed broccoli
  • • 1/4 cup finely chopped onions (optional)
  • • 1 medium size steamed & mashed potato
  • • 1/4 cup chickpea flour
  • • 1/2 tsp grated ginger
  • • 1/2 tsp finely chopped green chili
  • • 1/4 cup chopped fresh coriander leaves
  • • 1/2 tsp unrefined salt
  • • 1/2 tsp chili flakes
  • • 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
  • • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • *Variation:*
  • Instead of broccoli, grated zucchini or shredded yellow pumpkin can be used👍🏻

Directions

  1. 1. Steam the grated broccoli for 2-3 minutes.
  2. 2. In a heated pan saute chopped onions adding a pinch of salt until translucent.
  3. 3. Transfer in a bowl.
  4. 4. Add rest of the ingredients and mix.
  5. 5. Shape into patties.
  6. 6. Heat a tava or cast iron pan over medium heat and grease with potato / onion / peanut butter potli. Roast the patties for 4-5 minutes per side.
  7. Serve with green chutney or ketchup.
