Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 C dark brown sugar, packed
  • 1 C butter, softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp whiskey
  • 2 1/2 C flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 C finely chopped pecans
  • 1 C whole pecans
  • 8oz caramels
  • 1/4 C heavy cream

Directions

  1. Cream butter & sugar, then add eggs and whiskey. Whisk dry ingredients together and add to wet mix. Add chopped pecans to mix.
  2. Melt caramels and cream over low heat with wooden spoon.
  3. Roll dough into balls & place into tart pan. Press, add 1 whole pecan and caramel glaze.
  4. Bake 332 for 12-15 min
