Caramel Swirl Cake

Ingredients

  • 125g Caramello
  • 2T thick cream
  • 125g butter
  • 1t vanilla
  • 3/4c caster sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c SRFlour
  • 1/2c plain flour
  • 1/2cmilk
  • 1/4 c chopped pecans

Directions

  1. Grease a 20cm round cake tin. Line base with paper.
  2. Combine chocolate and cream in saucepan and stir over low heat until smooth.
  3. Combine butter, essence, sugar, eggs, flours and milk. Beat until smooth and changed in colour. Stir in nuts.
  4. Spread 3/4 mix into cake tin. Drop spoonfuls of 1/2 choc mix. Add remaining cake mix followed by choc mix.
  5. Run a skewer through the cake mixture to marble.
  6. Bake in mod oven for about 50 minor until cooked.
