Ingredients

  • Crust
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 cups oatmeal
  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3 sticks margarine
  • Filling
  • 1 jar of smuckers caramel sauce
  • 6 TBS flour
  • 1 bag of semi sweet chocolate chips

Directions

  1. Blend all dry ingredients and add in melted butter. Press half the mixture in a 9x13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
  2. Sprinkle bag if chocolate chips on top. Mix jar of caramel sauce with 6 tablespoons of flour. Pour over chocolate chips. Top with the test of the oatmeal mixture on top. (Flatten into pieces and spread out)
  3. Put back in the oven for 10-15 minutes just until the edges are brown. Refrigerate.
