  • 15g butter
  • 1 tbsp plain flour
  • 150ml milk
  • 50g cheddar, grated

Directions

  1. Melt butter over a low heat in a saucepan.
  2. Stir in flour to make a smooth paste.
  3. Whisk in the milk and stir until thickened.
  4. Take the saucepan off the heat and stir in the cheese until melted and sauce is smooth.
