Chicken Breast: Honey BBQ With seasoned rice

Ingredients

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces

½ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

½ teaspoon garlic powder

1 tablespoon olive oil

½ cup barbecue sauce

2 tablespoons honey

1 teaspoon soy sauce

½ teaspoon smoked paprika

For the Seasoned Rice:

1 cup long-grain rice

2 cups chicken broth

1 tablespoon butter

½ teaspoon onion powder

½ teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon paprika

¼ teaspoon salt

Directions

In a bowl, season the chicken pieces with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook until browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.
In a small bowl, whisk together barbecue sauce, honey, soy sauce, and smoked paprika.
Pour the sauce over the chicken and stir to coat. Reduce heat to low and let it simmer for 5 minutes until caramelized.

in a saucepan, combine rice, chicken broth, butter, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, and salt. Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat, cover, and let simmer for 15 minutes until the rice is cooked and the liquid is absorbed.
