Chicken kothu Parotta

Ingredients

  • 2 plain Parathas cooked from frozen
  • 1 small bowl mashed potatoes
  • 1 large bowl chicken - boiled and broken into 3 cm long shreds.
  • 1 tsp oil
  • 2 tsp ghee
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 large onion coarsely chopped
  • 2-3 pinch-full kalonji ka masala
  • Turmeric powder
  • Chilli powder

Directions

  1. Cook parothas n keep aside.
  2. Break them loosely with hand.
  3. Heat oil, add potato mash and sauté till slightly coloured. Remove and keep aside.
  4. In the same pan heat ghee.
  5. Add chopped onions. Sauté till translucent.
  6. Add turmeric n chilli powder and mix well.
  7. Add potato mash, chicken and salt and mix well. Let it cook for 2 minute. Keep stirring.
  8. Add parothas and mix well. Cook for a minute.
  9. Add lemon juice and mix well.
  10. Add few pinch full of kalonji masala and mix well.
  11. Cook on medium flame without lid for few minute until water evaporates and slightly crisp.
  12. Serve hot.
  13. Serving tip: Serve with a bowl of yogurt as main dish.
