Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

  • • 1/2 Cup Melted Butter
  • • 1/3 Cup Granulated Sugar
  • • 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
  • • 1 Large Egg
  • • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • • 1/2 Teaspoon Baking Soda
  • • 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
  • • 1 1/2 Cups Flour
  • • 1 Cup Chocolate Chips (Or Heath Chips)
  • • 1/2 Teaspoon Cocoa Powder

Directions

  1. 1. Pour melted butter in a bowl and add granulated and brown sugars, and mix until combined. Mix in egg and vanilla extract. Add salt, baking soda, and cocoa powder, and combine until cohesive.
  2. 2. Slowly add in flower and mix until the batter comes together and forms a dough
  3. ball. Slowly mix in chocolate chips (or heath toffee) by hand, and let sit for now.
  4. 3. Line a large cookie sheet with parchment paper, and scoop cookie dough into two tablespoon balls, and place on cookie sheet, at least 1 inch apart from each other.
  5. 4. Freeze for at least 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit, and remove cookies from freezer and bake for 12 to 14 minutes.
  6. 5. Remove from oven and snap cookie sheet onto stove top or counter 3 or four times, mine onto a wire rack using a spatula, and let cool.
  7. 6. Enjoy!
