Chocolate Frosting

Ingredients

  • 24 oz semisweet chocolate morsels
  • 4 cups heavy cream
  • 1 tsp light corn syrup

Directions

Place chocolate and cream in a saucepan. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly with a rubber spatula, until thick about 20 minutes. Remove from heat, stir in corn syrup.

Transfer to large metal bowl, let cool, stirring frequently. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until thick enough to spread (2 hours), stir every 15 minutes.

Makes 6 cups
