Chocolate Hershey cookies (GOOD)

Ingredients

10 T butter (room temp)

1/2 c brown sugar

1/2 c sugar & 3 T for rolling in

1 egg

1 t vanilla

1 1/4 c flour

1/2 c cocoa

1 t b soda

1/4 t salt

candy canes chopped up or Hershey Kisses

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 & line cookie sheets with parchment
combine flour, cocoa, b. soda & salt & set aside
cream butter, sugar & brown sugar (2-3 min-**don't skip this step)
add egg & vanilla- dough should like glossy
add dry mixture-blending until forms a thick dough- if it is to sticky chill for 10-15 min
roll dough into balls (only about 1 T. each)
roll each ball in the 3 T sugar
place balls on cookie sheet about 1 inch apart- with thumb press down center of each ball
bake about 7 min
remove from oven and gently press down candy
let cook on cookie sheet than transfer to cooling rack
