Chocolate Molten Lava Cake

Ingredients

  • 4 squares semi-sweet baking bars (mom uses only 3)
  • 1/2 c butter
  • 1 c powdered sugar
  • 6 T flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 egg yolks

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  2. Grease 4 custard cups and place on baking sheet.
  3. Microwave chocolate squares and butter until melted. Wire whisk butter and chocolate until blended.
  4. Add powdered sugar and flour. Mix well with wire whisk.
  5. Add eggs and yolks and whisk until well blended.
  6. Divide batter evenly into prepared custard cups.
  7. Bake 14-15 minutes until cakes are firm around hedges but soft in the center.
  8. Let stand 1 minute and run butter knife around edges to loosen. Carefully invert cakes onto dessert dishes.
  9. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and garnish with raspberries.
