Chocolate Toffees
Ingredients
- 100g salted butter
- 50ml cocoa
- 200ml double cream
- 300ml/300g caster sugar
- 100ml golden syrup
- 3 tbsp honey
- 2 tsp vanilla sugar
Directions
- Measure all ingredients into a heavy bottomed saucepan.
- Put thermometer into saucepan.
- Simmer mixture on low heat, stirring occasionally.
- Continue cooking until 125°, approx 35 minutes.
- Pour mixture into oven proof dish lined with baking paper, and allow to cool.
- After 30 minutes cut up slab into toffee sized pieces and wrap individually.
