Coleslaw

Ingredients

  • 1 large cabbage
  • 1 medium Spanish onion
  • Grated carrots - about 4 or 5
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp dry mustard
  • 1 tsp celery seeds (leave out if you can't find them. DO NOT SUBSTITUTE CELERY SALT)
  • 1 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2/3 cup olive oil

Directions

  1. Mix sugar, salt, mustard, celery in saucepan add oil
  2. Add vinegar and bring to a boil until sugar dissolves
  3. Pour over cabbage and toss
  4. Cool to room temperature
  5. Cover and refrigerate
  6. Lasts approx 3 weeks
