Concord Grape Pie

Ingredients

  • 3 cups concord grapes
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 TBSP flour
  • dash of salt
  • 1/2 tsp grated lemon peel

Directions

Slip skins from grapes. Bring pulp to boiling. Press thru sieve to remove seeds. Add skins. Mix sugar, flour, salt, and lemon peel. Add to grapes. Pour into pastry lines pan. Dot small pieces of butter over filling. Cover with lattice top crust.

Bake at 400 degrees for 40-50 minutes.
