Ingredients

  • 18 Large fresh mushrooms (I prefer portabella)
  • 5 tbsp. butter
  • 4 oz. breakfast sausage, crumbled
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped celery
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheese
  • 1 cup fine cornbread crumbs, about 1 corn muffin
  • 1 large egg
  • salt and pepper
  • jalapeno (optional)

  1. Mix all ingredients together and stuff mushrooms. Bake at 350 for 25 to 30 minutes.
