Creamy Brussel Sprouts

Ingredients

  • 4 slices bacon
  • 2 pounds Brussel sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 3/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 3/4 cup whipping cream

Directions

  1. Cook bacon until brown and crisp. Remove.
  2. Reserve 2 TBSP drippings and add brussel sprouts. Cook and stir on medium heat for 4 minutes.
  3. Add broth, salt, and pepper and heat to boiling.
  4. Reduce heat, simmer covered for 5 minutes.
  5. Uncover and cook 2-4 minutes until liquid is evaporated.
  6. Add cream and cook 4 minutes until thick. Add bacon.
