Sift the flour on a pastry board — I make a hollow and add the yeast, sugar, eggs, milk, oil and grated lemon peel — with a fork I beat all the ingredients well and mix them together — knead with my hands until a smooth, soft and homogeneous dough is obtained
I divide the dough into 6 pieces
I roll them out with my hands on the floured surface, forming cylinders of 30-35 cm each
I form 2 braids fixing the two ends with a light finger pressure
in a bowl I beat the egg yolk and brush it on the surface of the sweets
I put the colored sprinkles on top
I put them in a pan with parchment paper and put them in the preheated oven at 356F for 50 min.
