Double Sweet Chilli Pork Burger

Ingredients

  • 400g 5% fat pork mince
  • 4ml olive oil
  • 1 chopped red chilli
  • 10g honey
  • Salt & pepper
  • sesame brioche burger bun
  • 4 x 20g reduced-fat cheese slices
  • Small lettuce leaf
  • 20g sweet chilli sauce
  • 20g ketchup

Directions

  1. 1. Preheat grill to high flame
  2. 2. Add the pork mince, olive oil, chilli, honey, salt and pepper in a large bowl. Mix with hands thoroughly and form two evenly sized burgers
  3. 3. Add the burgers to a foiled baking tray and grill each side for 7-9 minutes until they turn golden brown
  4. 4. Meanwhile, Prepare the bun by adding the lettuce and ketchup
  5. 5. When burgers are nearly ready, add both cheese slices on top of each burger and heat for 30 seconds
  6. 6. Add burgers and sweet chilli sauce to the bun and serve
