Frosting for Sugar Cookies

- 1 1/2 Cups( 3 sticks/340) butter
- 1 1/2 Cups( 310) vegetable shortening
- 3 pounds (1.4g) confectioners sugar ( about 10 1/2 to 11 cups)
- 1 tablespoon clear vanilla
- 1/4 (60 ml) heavy cream

Directions
- 1) combine the butter and shortening in a bowl of an electric mixer.
- 2) Using the paddle attachment beat on medium speed until smooth about 2 mins.
- 3) Add half of the confectioners sugar and continue beating on low speed for an additional 2 mins. or till mixture is creamy. Scrape sides as needed add the rest of the confectioners' sugar.
