German Chocolate Icing

Ingredients

  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1//2 cup butter
  • 1tsp vanilla flavoring
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans
  • 1 1/3 cup flaked coconut

Directions

  1. Combine first 5 ingredients and cook on med heat. (About 12 minutes). Stir constantly. When thick remove from heat and add nuts and coconut and beat until thick. Put on German Chocolate cake.
