• 1/4 cup shortening
• 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
• 2/3 cup molasses
• 1 large egg
• For decoration:
• 1/4 cup dark or milk chocolate chips
• 1/2 cup powdered sugar
• 1/4 teaspoon vanilla
• 2-4 teaspoons milk
