Remove wrappers from kisses.
Beat butter, sugar, and vanilla. Add flour blend until smooth. Stir in chocolate chips. Mold 1 TBSP around each chocolate kisses. Cover completely. Shape into balls, place on cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Cool.
Prepare chocolate- 1/4 cup mini chips and 1 tsp shortening. Melt on high for 30 seconds. Stir and microwave for 20 more seconds.
