Honey-Glazed Carrots

Ingredients

  • 2 lb. carrots
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 tsp. pumpkin pie spice, or a mixture of cinnamon and nutmeg

Directions

  1. Peel carrots and cut into 1/2-inch pieces. Steam in a steamer until partially cooked.
  2. Combine the butter, honey and pumpkin pie spice in a saucepan. Add the cooked carrots and cook, uncovered, over medium-low heat until the sauce thickens and the carrots are tender.
