Hummus
Ingredients
- • 1½ c. (300g) Cooked or Canned Chickpeas
- • ½ c. (120ml) Bean Liquid or Water
- • 3 Garlic Cloves
- • ¼ c. (34g) Sesame Tahini (Available at health food stores or in the natural food section of most supermarkets or
- Google an easy way to make your own)
- • 2 tbsp. Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- • Juice from 1 Organic Lemon
- • 1 tsp. Sea Salt
- • Pinch of Cayenne Pepper
Directions
Put all ingredients into a blender or food processor and pulse together. Hummus can be stored in the refrigerator for snacking the rest of the week or can be frozen for later.
1 serving is ½ cup (125g) if eating as a snack.
