Hummus

Ingredients

  • • 1½ c. (300g) Cooked or Canned Chickpeas
  • • ½ c. (120ml) Bean Liquid or Water
  • • 3 Garlic Cloves
  • • ¼ c. (34g) Sesame Tahini (Available at health food stores or in the natural food section of most supermarkets or
  • Google an easy way to make your own)
  • • 2 tbsp. Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • • Juice from 1 Organic Lemon
  • • 1 tsp. Sea Salt
  • • Pinch of Cayenne Pepper

Directions

Put all ingredients into a blender or food processor and pulse together. Hummus can be stored in the refrigerator for snacking the rest of the week or can be frozen for later.
1 serving is ½ cup (125g) if eating as a snack.
