Ingredients
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
- 300g can chick peas, drained
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/3 cup low fat natural yoghurt
- 2 tablespoons water
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Sweet paprika to garnish
- Toasted pita bread and vegetable sticks to serve
Directions
Heat oil in a small pan, add garlic and sesame seeds; cook, stirring, for about 2 minutes, or until seeds are lightly browned.
Blend or process seed mixture with chick peas, juice, yoghurt, water, salt and pepper until smooth.
Spoon mixture into a serving bowl. Sprinkle with paprika; serve with toasted pita bread and vegetable sticks.
