TO MAKE THE SANDWICH WITHOUT THE STEPS
If you do not want to make it from scratch.
Combine mixed salad greens, cucumber top with Italian dressing.
Open the pita halves and gently fill with the salad and 100g roast beef.
MAKING THE PITA SANDWICH FROM SCRATCH
To make an Italian salad dressing, combine olive oil, Italian seasoning, lemon juice and pepper.
In a bowl, combine mixed salad greens, cucumber and beef. Drizzle over dressing and toss to coat.
Open the pita halves and gently fill each half with the beef salad. Serve any leftover cucumber slices on the side.
TIP: To warm the pita, preheat the oven to 180C. Wrap pita in foil and bake for 8 to 10 minutes.
