1. Heat about 2 tbsp oil and 1 tbsp butter in a nonstick pan, when it's nice and hot, add the diced potatoes.
2. Add a good amount of paprika (2 tsp.), a pinch of curry powder, and a sprinkle of garli garni. Stir a few times to distribute seasonings.
3. Let the potatoes cook on one side without stirring for about five minutes, stir twice and repeat a few more times until all the potatoes are golden brown. Add salt, pepper, and cayenne to taste.
