- 2 cups whipping cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- ¼ cup powdered sugar
- Optional garnishes: Sugared lime zest (recipe below), lime slices
- Also needed: 6 half-pint (8-ounce) mason jars
- Lime Curd:
- 6 large egg yolks
- zest of two limes
- 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lime juice (2-3 limes)
- 12 tablespoons sugar
- 8 tablespoons unsalted butter, cold, cut into pieces
- Sugared lime zest:
- Zest of one lime
- 1 tablespoon sugar
