Lamb (ground): Slow Cooker Shepherd's Pie

Ingredients

• 2 lbs Ground Lamb (lamb is more authentic) or beef
• 1 large onion, chopped
• 2 tsps minced garlic
• 1 can 14oz diced tomatoes, drained
• 1 package 16 oz frozen peas & carrots
• 2 tsp dried oregano
• 1 tsp salt
• 1/2 tsp black peper
• 2 packages 24oz prepared mashed potatoes...or make your own
