Lemon Pea Pasta

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces pasta
  • 3 tbls butter
  • 1/2 onion (diced)
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup pasta water
  • 1 Bullion cube
  • Juice from one lemon
  • kosher salt (to taste)
  • freshly ground black pepper (to taste)
  • 1 cup or 1/2 bag frozen peas (thawed)
  • fresh parsley

Directions

  1. Boil noodles
  2. In a pan melt butter, add onions and sautée until transparent (about 5 min). Add garlic, cook for an additional minute.
  3. Deglaze pan and add broth, heavy cream, peas, pasta water, salt/pepper, lemon juice, bullion cube and parsley.
  4. Drain and add pasta… Enjoy!
