Lemon Pea Pasta
Ingredients
- 12 ounces pasta
- 3 tbls butter
- 1/2 onion (diced)
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1/2 cup pasta water
- 1 Bullion cube
- Juice from one lemon
- kosher salt (to taste)
- freshly ground black pepper (to taste)
- 1 cup or 1/2 bag frozen peas (thawed)
- fresh parsley
Directions
Boil noodles
In a pan melt butter, add onions and sautée until transparent (about 5 min). Add garlic, cook for an additional minute.
Deglaze pan and add broth, heavy cream, peas, pasta water, salt/pepper, lemon juice, bullion cube and parsley.
Drain and add pasta… Enjoy!
