Limoncello / Arancello

Ingredients

  • 1L alcohol (40%)
  • 10 med-large lemons OR oranges
  • 3c sugar
  • 3c water
  • *updated 7/12/15

Directions

  1. Grate the rind from the lemons/oranges and add to alcohol. Store in a dark place for 1 month.
  2. Cook sugar and water until sugar dissolves. Cool to room temperature.
  3. Strain peel from liquid. Combine with sugar syrup.
