  • 3 large eggs, at room temperature
  • 3/4 cup (170g | 6oz) sour cream, at room temperature
  • 3/4 cup (180ml) buttermilk, at room temperature

  • 1-1/2 cup (360ml) pure maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup (120g | 4.2oz) butter
  • 1/3 cup (80ml) bourbon
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract (store-bought or homemade)
