Mexican Cheese and Jalapeno Spread/Dip

Ingredients

  • 5 Fresh jalapenos
  • 3green onions, minced, for total of 1/2 cup
  • 8 oz. Mexican cheese blend
  • 1/2 cup Sour Cream
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Crumbled bacon
  • If desired add Worcestershire or tabasco sauce to taste

Directions

  1. Mince jalapenos. If you don't want the seeds in the mixture remove them before mincing. Mince green onions. Add all ingredients to a mixing bowl. Except for Worcestershire or Tabasco sauce. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, overnight if you have the time. Add sauces when proceeding after removing from the refrigerator. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and bake for 20 minutes if serving the spread hot. Otherwise let mixture thaw to room temperature before serving.
