Here is a DIY that will have your friends wondering when you became so crafty!! You can make these little pumpkin tea light holders very easily and put them anywhere you want to create a festive fall atmosphere!
Take mini pumpkins and completely remove the stems (if it still has one), trace the outline of your tea light onto the top of the mini pumpkin and using a drill bit carve out the hole you will need. Don't go too deep, only go the same depth as the tealight. To preserve your mini pumpkin dip it into a solution of 1/4 cup bleach to 1 gallon water, allow to air dry. Once completely dry I wipe mine down so there are no spots and it's shiny, then put in your tea light and enjoy!
Note: If you have a small, sharp carving knife you can use that just as easily as trying to use the drill to cut out the hole.
