Moms Sour Cream Chicken

Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breast
  • One onion
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 1 1/4cups of sauv blanc
  • 1/2 cup of chicken stock
  • 1/4 cup of sour cream
  • 1/2 - whole lemon
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. 1. Season chicken breast and sear in pan until just done. Remove to rest.
  2. 2. In the same pan add onions and cook until translucent. And garlic. ( sometimes I add mushrooms at this point, just depends on my mood)
  3. 3.one garlic is aromatic add wine and cook for about 7 minutes.
  4. 4. After wine is cooked out, add chicken broth. Once this is brought to a simmer, add sour cream.
  5. 5. Whisk until fully combined, simmer for about 3 minutes. Salt and pepper to taste.
  6. (Is sauce is to thin for your liking add 2 tbls. Of butter)
  7. 6. Leave chicken breast whole or cute into pieces and add back to sauce. At this point it’s ready to eat.
  8. I usually eat it with rice and veggies on the side but it also taste good with pasta.
