Mom's Spanish Rice

Ingredients

  • Spanish Rice
  • Fry 4 slices bacon and crumble.
  • Cook onion until golden
  • Add
  • 2 cans tomato soup
  • 1/2 cup rice (I use brown rice now). Cook longer
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 4 whole cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (I used a lot less)
  • Cover and cook slowly 50 minutes, more for brown rice.
  • Stir occasionally.
