Morgan Bars

Ingredients

  • 2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 cup quick-cooking rolled oats
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1-1/3 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 6-oz. package (2 cups) semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup sifted powdered sugar
  • 4 Tbsp. peanut butter
  • 2-3+ Tbsp. milk

Directions

  1. Grease jellyroll pan
  2. Combine flour, oats, soda and salt. Set aside.
  3. Beat butter for 30 seconds.
  4. Add sugars and beat until fluffy.
  5. Add egg, 1-1/3 cup peanut butter, 1/2 cup milk and vanilla; beat well.
  6. Add dry ingredients and beat until smooth.
  7. Mix in chocolate chips.
  8. Spread mixture in pan. Bake at 350 for 18-20 minutes.
  9. Let cool then sprinkle chocolate chips over top.
  10. Combine powdered sugar, peanut butter and enough milk to make a drizzling consistency.
  11. Drizzle over top. Let stand for several hours.
