Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugars until smooth. Beat in egg. Stir in vanilla, orange zest and orange extract.
In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking soda and cinnamon. Add to butter mixture. Fold in oats and cranberries.
Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 10 to 12 minutes, or until golden brown.
