Perfect Pumpkin Pie

Ingredients

  • 3 cans pumpkin
  • 1 can condensed milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 to 1 cup brown sugar (add more for a sweeter filling)
  • 1 Tbs almond extract
  • 4 Tbs cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla bean paste (or vanilla extract)
  • 1 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1 tsp ground cloves
  • 1 tsp ground allspice
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • Pie crust (not included in this recipe)

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.
  2. Mix together the pumpkin and spices in a mixing bowl.
  3. In a separate bowl, lightly beat the eggs. Add to the pumpkin and mix well.
  4. Add the condensed milk and mix well.
  5. Pour the filling into the pie crust.
  6. Bake at 425 for 15 minutes.
  7. Turn the oven down to 350 and continue to cook for 40 minutes for a full pie, or 20 minutes for mini pies.
  8. Let cool and enjoy with whipped cream topping!
