Pizza Dough

Ingredients

  • 3 cups 00 Tipo Flour/All-Purpose Flour (Scooped and Leveled)
  • 2 tsp. Sea Salt
  • 1 cup Water (105-120 degrees)
  • 1 tbsp. Olive Oil
  • 2 tsp. Honey
  • 2 1/4 tsp. Yeast (7 gram packet)

Directions

  1. Place at least 1/4 of the water into a bowl with the honey and yeast, stir to dissolve completely and allow to set for at least 10 minutes.
  2. Place Flour and salt into a separate bowl and mix well with a whisk.
  3. Create a well in the flour and add the Olive Oil, Yeast mixture and remaining water.
  4. Using your hand mix the ingredients until the dough forms a ball, scrap the bowl well and form dough into a ball/blob shape.
  5. Flour a surface and knead dough for 5 minutes or more until dough is smooth and no longer sticky.
  6. Allow to rest in a bowl for at least 2 hours.
  7. Cut dough into 2-4 pieces and pull the sides down and under the ball over and over until smooth.
  8. Allow to rest in a bowl or covered for another hour or more.
  9. At this point toss out the dough or wrap dough balls in plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator for later usage.
  10. Bake the pizza in a 500 degree oven.
