Pomfret Gravy

Ingredients

  • Marinate -
  • Halad, chili powder, salt.
  • Masala -
  • Soak 4-5 dry red chilies in warm water for 10 mins.
  • Grind together soaked chilies, 1 tsp Dhane, half onion, 5-7 flakes garlic. Make a paste.
  • Now make a paste of 1 wati grated fresh coconut.

Directions

In a vessel , add oil . Temper with tirphal. And half finely chopped onion. Add halad.

Fry onion till translucent. Add red masala paste and fry. Add fish. Cook till a little brown on both sides.

Add water, after boil add coconut paste and 2-3 Kokum at the end.boil once and switch off.
