  • Pork belly, 3/4lb
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Chicken bouillon granules, 1tbl
  • Maggi sauce, 2tbl

Directions

  1. Season pork belly
  2. Place in frying pan and fill about 1/2in with cooking oil, turn heat on high and cook about 15 mins.
  3. Turn off heat and leave the pork covered in the pan.
  4. Let the pork sit for at least one to five hours, the longer the better to maximize crunchiness.
  5. Turn heat on medium high and add a couple tbls oil.
  6. Cook each side of the pork belly, turning each piece as it browns, careful to not let it burn.
  7. Remove and cut into bite size pieces.
  8. Fry the cut pork belly for a couple minutes for extra crispiness.
