Protein Bagels

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 cups non fat plain Greek yogurt (0% purple Fage brand)
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 salt
  • 1 egg
  • Sesame seeds

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 F and place parchment paper on baking sheet pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix together all the ingredients (just not the egg & sesame seeds).
  3. Knead the dough on the counter for about 2 minutes. Roll into one large piece and cut into 5 equal sections. Roll each piece into a ball and use some flour to poke a hole through the middle of each one forming a bagel shape. Stretch until you’ve reached the bagel shape you like.
  4. Crack an egg into a bowl, whisk & lightly brush on top of the bagels so everything is well coated. Sprinkle on your seasoning of choice (sesame seeds).
  5. Bake at 400 for 15 minutes, then flip your pan & bake at 350 for another 15 minutes.
